Is The Journey of a Salty Soul based on a true story?
No.The Journey of a Salty Soul is a work of fiction, but it's deeply rooted in reality. Many of the places Damian visits are destinations I've explored, and several of the people he meets were inspired by memorable individuals I've encountered along the way. At the time of writing, the Bahamas remained one horizon I had yet to experience firsthand.
Who is this book for?
Anyone who's ever dreamed of a new beginning. While The Journey of a Salty Soul follows Damian's adventures on the water, it's ultimately a story about hope, courage, and discovering that it's never too late to chart a new course. Boaters and non-boaters alike will feel at home.
Will there be another book?
Yes. The Journey of a Salty Soul is the first installment in the Salty Soul Chronicles, a planned series following Damian Cruz's continuing adventures. His journey is far from over, and I'm already working on future books that will explore new destinations, introduce unforgettable characters, and celebrate the spirit of adventure and new beginnings.
